Abstract
Summary/Abstract: The data set consists of phenotypic data recorded from ascending, adult, wild Atlantic salmon and sea trout and escaped farmed salmon captured in the resistance board weir in the Fjord- and River Laboratory in the River Etneelva from spring 2013 to autumn 2025. The trap captures approx. 90 % of the wild Atlantic salmon and sea trout and close to a 100% of the escaped famed salmon that enters the river, thus providing a detailed profile of the Etne salmon and trout. The phenotype (wild vs escaped farm salmon) was determined by external morphological traits and growth patterns on scales.growth patterns on scales.
