Marine CO2 system data (total alkalinity, total dissolved inorganic carbon) were collected from the full water column on the IMR repeat section Barentshav in the Barents Sea. Sampling was performed on cruise onboard RV Kronprins Haakon in September 2023 (cruise 2023007016) and RV Johan Hjort in September-October 2023 (cruise 2023002011). This study is a contribution to the project 'Monitoring ocean acidification in Norwegian waters/Havforsuringsovervåking i norske farvann' funded by the Norwegian Environment Agency (Miljødirektoratet) project #17078007.
