Abstract
Ocean currents, temperature, salinity, and pressure time series from one oceanographic mooring deployed in the trough between Siple and Carney Islands, leading in to a central front of the Getz Ice Shelf in the Amundsen Sea, Antarctica. The mooring (UiB3) was deployed/retrieved from RV. Araon in January 2016/2018 and consisted of ADCP (RDI) and temperature/pressure/salinity sensors (Seabird Electronics; SBE56, microcat). The time resolution is 1h. In total nine NetCDF-files are provided, one for each instrument. Details on the mooring design and instrument set-up are given in the cruise reports (see https://doi.org/10.21335/NMDC-1721053841). The data set is analyzed in Dundas, Darelius, Daae, Steiger, Nakayama, and Kim 2022 (in review).
