Abstract
This data set named UNIS_AGF214_CTD_2024, is a collection of temperature and salinity (CTD) profiles from the area (9.0-21.1°E and 76.0-78.7°N) collected on a UNIS AGF214 student cruise with Research Vessel Helmer Hanssen in September and October 2024. Data contributor is The University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS). Data are processed with standard software from the instrument manufacturers, and calibrated with in situ water bottle analysis and post-cruise calibration. The mean difference between bottle and corrected CTD salinity is 0.0005. Outliers are removed. Downcast profiles are generally used, but for some profiles the upcast is used due to the CTD was lowered before the sensors were properly adapted.
