Usage :
Abstract
An individual-based model (IBM) based on existing knowledge of growth and life history of Calanus glacialis is implemented and coupled to the an ecosystem model system encompassing physics, a nutrients–phytoplankton–zooplankton–detritus (NPZD) model and an IBM of the Atlantic congener C.finmarchicus. The model is used to study the development and spatial distribution of C.glacialis and the dynamics between zooplankton and their environment.
